Every Wednesday in February at 8.30pm, Rialto Channel brings you the NZ TV Premiere of a new LGBTQ+ documentary. First up is COBY (6th) about 23-year-old Suzanna who changes gender and becomes a boy named Coby in the American Midwest. CHECK IT (13^th) is a portrait of a group of African-American gay and transgender youths who founded their own gang for self-protection in Washington D.C. THE FREEDOM TO MARRY (20^th) brings us the inside story of the same-sex marriage movement in the U.S. Lastly, BELIEVER (27^th) follows Imagine Dragons' frontman Dan Reynolds as he explores how the Mormon church treats its LGBTQ+ members.
