As money goes missing from the register at The Grill, a happening restaurant in the hustle and bustle of New York city, suspicion falls on Pedro (Raul Briones) an undocumented migrant and cook. In love with the American waitress Julia (Rooney Mara), Pedro dreams of a better life in the US, but his dreams are undermined in light of the recent accusations.
