From legendary director Jerzy Skolimowski and inspired by the 1966 film Au Hasard Balthazar, the story of a curious gray Sardinian donkey named EO. After being removed from an itinerant circus, EO begins a trek across the countryside, and is both helped and hindered by the people he meets including an Italian countess (Isabelle Huppert) and a rowdy Polish soccer team that adopts him as their mascot. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best International Feature, and for the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
