Director Derek Jarman offers his perspective on Britain during a dark and gloomy era. He ruminates on the decline of England under Thatcher, through old home movies, newly shot hand-held 8 millimetre photography, straight newsreel-style footage and a barrage of familiar music and street sounds; which all combine to create a mosaic of apocalyptic allusions. With Tilda Swinton.
