When the body of a 63-year-old vicar was discovered in the village of Shorne, Kent in 1975, the community were shocked. One detective was certain the killer was a 22-year-old criminal named Patrick Mackay, but he had no proof. When Mackay was eventually brought in for questioning, however, he proceeded to confess to the murder, and he was only scratching the surface.
