From executive producers Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix, this documentary highlights how the way in which we consume and treat animals, drives the emergence of existential health threats such as zoonotic disease, chronic disease, and perhaps even more worryingly, antimicrobial resistance. The film sheds light on the largely overlooked impending medical threat warned of by CDC and WHO experts and investigates the role animals play in not only disease outbreaks but also the end of medicine as we know it.
