After thirty-eight years as a fast food worker, Stanley (Richard Jenkins) decides to call it quits. His last task is to train his replacement, Jevon (Shane Paul McGhie), a young African-American boy. The two share little in common - Stanley was a high school dropout, and has spent half his life looking out a drive-through window, whilst Jevon is a budding young writer just out to make extra bucks. But when their two very different worlds collide, they end up striking a beautiful friendship.
