Claire (Lena Olin) lives a quite life in the Hamptons, the wife of Richard (Bruce Dern), a celebrated artist. While preparing for his final show, Richard is diagnosed with dementia. As his memory and moods deteriorate, she is forced to shield him from the art community. Once a promising artist hereself, as her world slips away from her, Claire must now decide to face the reality of the situation or step into the spotlight herself and finish Richard's final piece.
