Serge (Michel Blanc), is the only emergency doctor making home visits on a busy Christmas Eve in Paris. While rushing to the bedside of his next patient, he accidentally hits a delivery driver, Malek (Hakim Jemili), with his car. Serge's back is injured in the process, placing him out of action for the remainder of his shift. Taking advantage of Malek's kind-hearted nature and eagerness to help - Serge sees an opportunity, why not let Malek step into his shoes for the night?
